Money for Our Future

This magazine is available near the financial aid office and the cashier's office. The financial aid office and the cashier's office are linked, however they are not always open at the same time. Before a student can receive their check from the cashier it has to be sent over from the financial aid office. I have been in line for the cashier and heard different students say "well the financial aid office told me my check was here." At this these times I looked over and the line for financial aid consisted of at least 15 students. The student whose check could not be located had to stand back in line to resolve more issues with the financial aid department before she could even think about returning to the cashier to receive her check. Our future is filled with lines and stumbling blocks. It’s important that we as students remain focused on our goal. With or without aid we still have the opportunity to create our future.
