These are my books for my summer courses at Laney College. I am taking an ethics class along with this anthropology one, both of which are for my G.E. requirements. Education is lauded as great in providing exposure and different perspectives and helping the mind mature. But if you look at it from a student’s point of view, rarely is our motivation simply “to learn.” I chose both these courses based on what requirements they will fulfill in my college. I am more or less driven to finish my college education, and yet this is my motivation? I don’t know how those that don’t believe in the benefits of higher education are supposed to motivate themselves.
This project is designed to show what we as students have to face to pursue Higher Education...

Summer Reading
