sensory motor skills


The aides set up a type of obstacle course that helps the children develop fine motor skills (which are needed for us to do things such as tie our shoes, do puzzles, zip up a jacket). Working on balancing and other activities that help connect the two hemispheres of the brain will help in the development of reading, writing, math, sports/movement, communication, and behavioral issues.
